SA Fuel & Oil is a manufacturer and distributor of high quality lubricants within the Southern African region. The Company’s products are available directly from the Company or through a network of Resellers throughout South Africa, and into Southern Africa (SADC).
In addition to its own SAFOD brand, the Company distributes the Sasol brand of lubricants, through its reseller network and directly to high volume transport and industrial consumers.
SA Fuel & Oil is also a non-refining fuel wholesaler with a national delivery capability, and exports fuel out of South Africa to neighboring countries.
SA Fuel & Oil is uniquely positioned within the industry in that it is one of the few suitably empowered and skilled Companies to compete as a supplier of both fuels and lubricants, and in particular a company apart from the established multinationals that has its own brand, SAFOD.
SA Fuel & Oil was conceived with the aim of overcoming the poor standards of service that have become synonymous with the petroleum and lubricants industries. This has been due, largely, to the dominant positions that the established multinationals, and certain local traders, have been allowed to achieve and maintain in South Africa, and on the African continent as a whole.
The success of the Company is largely due to the fact that the business consists on some of the most experienced individuals within the industry.
